How can I use the cards?
Matching Game: Create a matching game where students match the shape to its name or the 3D object to its features.
Flashcards for Recognition: Use the cards as flashcards to help students memorize the names, features, and properties of shapes and objects.
Problem-Solving Challenge: Encourage students to work in pairs or small groups to figure out how many corners, edges, and faces a particular shape or object has.
Shape and Object Hunt: After going through the cards, ask students to find real-life examples of the shapes and 3D objects in the classroom or outside.
Card Sort: After introducing the shapes and objects, students can organize the cards into two piles (2D shapes and 3D objects). Then they can sort the 3D objects by number of faces, edges, and corners.
